My Students

The students in my PE classes are enthusiastic, active, and competitive. They enjoy new games and outdoor activities that force them out of their comfort zones. Learning the importance of life long fitness is crucial at this age. My students create fitness goals and work hard every class to meet these goals. The community’s love for sports and an active lifestyle shows through the students approach to physical education. The students enjoy working together to achieve common goals to live healthier lives.

My Project

Students love playing sports and games that make them challenge themselves and learn new skills. Frisbee and disc games have become a favorite for my students. These discs will give students the opportunity to combine the game of golf with frisbee. The weight and size of these discs will also help the students learn about velocity, angles, and other physics basics while playing a game with friends. Students will have to use problem solving skills while playing to determine the proper disc. These discs would not only impact students while in PE, but could potentially combine learning from other subjects to be successful while playing.
