Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Come visit our school! You are guaranteed to leave with a huge smile after visiting our classroom, due to the infectious nature of 25 energized kindergarteners.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we aren't able to return to our classrooms for the rest of the school year.

Our school is a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My Project

Remote teaching and learning have been quite a challenge, especially when students lack the basic supplies. I am requesting scissors, pencils, glue sticks and construction paper to continue learning while at home.

For the past several weeks I noticed, many of my students were not submitting any assignments due to lack of basic school supplies.

I want to continue encouraging my students to learn and to give them the opportunity to continue learning while having fun.

Kindergarten students need lots of hand-on activities especially ones where they can create and express themselves.
