Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In a continuation school setting, many of our students feel disconnected and need a little more motivation to feel connected and engaged to the learning and build their confidence as they complete projects.
The Circuit, cardstock, and mats will provide materials for students to show their creativity and imagination when completing assignments and projects.
Our school is more than 50% Latino/a/x and more than 50% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
To help build connection at our school, we hope to provide engaging and creative outlets to complete projects. We also want to build student confidence by providing materials to plan and execute projects to exemplify their learning and try to make learning fun and engaging.
