My Project
The materials I’m requesting—wobble stools, floor cushions, and rocking floor seats—will make a meaningful difference in how my students experience learning each day. Right now, my small group table only seats three students because of the bulky chairs we have. Wobble stools will allow me to seat up to six, making small group time more efficient and inclusive. Beyond that, the wobble stools give students who need movement a chance to focus without disruption. The floor cushions and rocking seats will offer more comfort and choice during reading, partner work, and quiet independent tasks. These items aren’t just for seating. They’re tools to help students feel calm, supported, and engaged.
My goal is simple: I want every student who walks into my classroom to feel like it was built for them.
Flexible seating helps make that possible. It creates space for movement, choice, and focus, especially for students who struggle with traditional desks and chairs. It encourages independence and self-awareness, letting students decide how they learn best. I’ve already seen how one wobble stool transformed engagement during lessons. With your support, I can give that same opportunity to every child in my classroom.
My students are curious, energetic, and full of potential. Many of them face challenges outside the classroom, but they show up ready to try, grow, and be part of our classroom community.
