Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am finally getting a new smartboard for my classroom that will be interactive and I am so excited for this upgrade I am about to get. I know my students will also be stoked to see a new resource that will make their learning more engaging and fun. However, I do need a few things to make this change work for my students and I. The main one will be a laptop stand with wheels to hold a laptop for direct teaching and projecting during lessons with my students. I can also use the standing desk to help teachers with their sleepy students who struggle to stay awake during learning. With the wheels, it will be easy to take to other classrooms and offer it as a resource while it is not in use for presenting.
Incentives are always in need of replenishment as the school year goes so that my students never feel like their teacher is lacking.
Along with those, I would love a backpack that makes traveling from class to class a smoother transition since I have to carry a laptop, clipboard, binder, and water bottle. These are things that will just continue to make teaching and learning more efficient for my students and me.
