This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In my classroom we have a diversity of cultures and different types of economic backgrounds. I want to inspire my students to be thinkers, investigators and get curious about what is going to happen next. I want them to never stop reaching for their goal and always keep moving forward. In my school we are a team and we teach students to fly high even thought sometimes they go down but if they keep flying high they'll be successful in the long run.
My Project
The Kindles will help my students by reinforcing what we have been learning in class. For example, students could use audio books and www.storylineonline.net to use these tablets as a listening center in the classroom.
I would also be able to download some of the reading, math, and science apps to further student learning, and allow them to earn prizes like game time on the Kindles for good behavior.
The Kindle Fire will benefit us more by learning while doing online learning. I think if we get them, it would increase classroom engagement because they will be ready to learn and do well in the classroom.
