My Project

I am excited to present this proposal for a water flow table for our outdoor classroom, aimed at enriching the educational experiences of preschool children in our community. With a growing body of research highlighting the benefits of outdoor learning environments, I believe that providing young children with access to nature-based education is essential for their holistic development.

The outdoor classroom will serve as a dynamic and engaging space where my preschoolers can explore, learn, and play in a natural environment using the flowing water table.

Located within our school grounds, the outdoor classroom will feature a variety of elements designed to stimulate curiosity, foster creativity, and promote physical activity.

This learning station would focus on science equipped with materials and resources to support hands-on learning experiences.

Research shows that outdoor classrooms offer numerous benefits for preschoolers, including improved physical health, cognitive development, social-emotional skills, and academic performance. However, many preschools lack access to outdoor learning environments, limiting children's opportunities for nature-based experiences. By creating an outdoor classroom, I aim to address this gap and provide our preschoolers with the enriching experiences they deserve.

One of my goals is to promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills through hands-on exploration. To foster a sense of connection with the natural world and promote environmental awareness and stewardship.
