My Students

On Friday, March 13 I told all my students bye as they left my class for the day. I told them to have a good weekend and I would see them Monday.

Monday never came, and I miss my students every single day.

I am able to email, text, and use video platforms to talk to my students but it is not the same as seeing them every day.

My Project

Since I teach Culinary and Childcare these material will get used in many ways. Both courses I teach will be able to utilize these materials.

These materials will not only benefit my students, but will also benefit the on-site childcare facility that my students teach in.

My high school is very lucky to have an on-site childcare facility, all childcare students get the opportunity to work in the facility. They prepare lessons, gather materials and then carry out the lesson they created. These materials will be used to create the items they need for their lessons. With this machine the students will be able to create the lessons, send me a list of what they need made and I will be able to mail it to them. We will also be able to mail crafts to the children in the on-site childcare facility.

Culinary classes will be able to design their own aprons. I will also be able to label each group table and their equipment to help keep them organized. I am able to complete this task from home. In addition, we can use these materials to help design cake stencils. The students can email me their designs and I can cut them and mail them. This way they still get to create a unique cake from home.
