My Students

My students are awesome! I teach at a Philadelphia public school that qualifies for Title I funding. My entire class qualifies for free breakfast and lunch. Most of my students live in a single-parent household and some of them are being cared for by a foster family or extended family members.

Despite the challenges my students face, they come each day with a great attitude.

Many of them have faced hardships that you would never want any child to ever experience. I provide a safe, nurturing environment where kids can learn and progress.

My Project

This year my students will begin the school year with 100% virtual lessons for the first time in history. This will be a challenge for them and me. I want to be able to deliver fun, engaging, enriching lessons that will bring the curriculum to life using the educational resource Flocabulary that also adds music to many of the lessons.

The fun interactive lessons provided by Flocabulary can be used to reinforce learner's core knowledge and provide students with the skills they need.

Music is infused and adds to students' interest and level of engagement.
