Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are self-contained students who are reading and writing below grade level. It is my goal to help them level up at least 2 grades by the end of this year. While I have been creating my own materials, I know there are other teachers who've mastered the art of curriculum writing and their knowledge will help me help my students. There are so many creatives who have taken a simple unit and turned it into something fun all students would enjoy. I'd love to be able to use their ideas while including my own in order to create something new for my students.
When students enjoy what they're learning, there is more buy-in to do well in a class.
