Lesson Plan Organization & Drying Rack for Paintings

Help me give my students an artwork drying rack for their paintings and prints. Ours is so small! We also need a large filing system to be used for a lesson plan storage area.

My Project

My classroom is in great need of a large drying rack and a large format filing cabinet.

My students need a sturdy large drying rack.

We often have several classes working with wet artwork, like paintings or printmaking prints. We have multiple classes’ work that need to sit and dry at the same time. Artwork often gets stacked too soon, which creates damage. This drying rack would allow multiple classes to use it at the same time.

Another great need is a large filing cabinet for lesson plans, examples, and visuals. This filing cabinet would fit these larger items. I show examples of other artists and pictures of previous students’ work. These are often 11x 18 or larger.

Art posters must fit in the lesson plan file as well. Currently, I am folding artwork, lessons, and posters in half to fit into small drawers. This new system will create better visuals as well.
