My Project

My students are passionate storytellers, driven by a desire to capture moments that matter. Their enthusiasm for photography shines through in their projects, yet they are currently limited by the availability of classroom cameras. With only enough cameras for one section of my four classes, students are restricted to capturing their creative ideas solely during class time, stifling inspiration and exploration. By increasing the number of cameras, students would have the freedom to sign them out, attend school events, and truly immerse themselves in the art of photography. This expanded access would not only enrich their learning experience but also enhance the quality of our yearbook, showcasing their perspectives and talents in a more impactful way.

With additional cameras, students will have the opportunity to document the spirit of our school community—capturing the excitement of sports games, the energy of pep rallies, and the pride of graduation.

They will learn to shoot in real-world environments, develop their technical skills, and build portfolios that reflect their growth and creativity. These experiences will not only prepare them for future careers in visual arts but also empower them with the confidence to see the world through a more thoughtful and creative lens. Your support would open doors for these young photographers, giving them the tools they need to tell their stories with clarity, purpose, and passion.
