Lenovo Laptops for Language

My students need Lenovo laptops for language. With 14 different languages represented we need technology that will help us translate, speak and communicate with each other.

My Students

My students are English Language Learners from a variety of backgrounds. Many of them are second generation Americans who come from homes where two or more languages are spoken. Others are brand new to the country.

Each of my students bring a unique culture and language to our school.

They represent a variety of countries and customs. A majority of them also qualify for additional services due to low-income. Pre- K through fifth grade students are all part of the ESOL program at our school.

My Project

Our ESOL programs serves students from 14 different language backgrounds. Having these laptops in the ESOL room will allow us to utilize language and translation applications and technology that will allow us to all communicate more effectively. Also, students will be able to speak and record to respond to assignments and document their language progress.

It will also allow students to use technology to translate learning materials and books into their native language.

Students will also be able practice the English language with apps and other programs at their own level. My students rely on technology to communicate with the world of English learners while they acquire the language.
