My Project
It is a challenging time for students, and I want to provide them with every opportunity to have an enjoyable school year. Since we need to have to have a certain amount of distance between students in all spaces throughout the building, I have searched for individualized activities that can still be enjoyed during this school year. It will also provide me with options in the future to continue to get students to use the library space
The LEGO Architecture Kits are a fantastic way to stoke creativity within my students.
My vision is to have this set up as I would have a puzzle set up in the library. Students can come and go as they please and add pieces to the architecture piece that is being constructed. I like the idea of it being a joint effort in the future as students can join in the fun as they come to the library throughout the day. During the time period that we are in now, I would need to limit this to an individualized activity, but I think it is something that can continue to get students excited about coming back to school this year.
Through the use of these specific LEGO Architecture Kits, I can continue to gain interest and support for my library space. I am envisioning a creating a space for our library that is suitable for our modern age. I want to bring more technology and innovative thinking to our current space. It should be a place where all students want to come and feel welcome. The robotics would be a fantastic first step in garnering that interest.
