This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
LEGOs are a classic toy that every child enjoys. So many skills can be taught with LEGOs, but the best way to teach those fundamental science, technology, engineering, and math skills is by simply playing and building with blocks. LEGOs are also great because they give booklets of ideas for children to look at and see if they can find the matching blocks and build what they see in the blueprint.
LEGOs are a toy, an educational tool, that brings generations together to build, to learn, to laugh, and to grow.
This project will be used to integrate senior citizens and preschoolers in several building activities.
