it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We all know how classic Lego sets are. They are bright in color, so familiar to the touch with their geometrical shapes that so effortlessly fit into our finger tips. Just looking at them sparks creativity. The mind begins to race with so many possibilities for connection; socially and through play.
Using Lego sets in my STEAM classroom will allow my Kindergarten students the opportunity to master many emerging skills such as problem solving, understanding semi-complex tasks, and practicing spatial skills.
A classic set can be used in so many different ways from art, to literacy and engineering! The possibilities are endless.
