My Project
The Lego projects will allow my students to develop fine motor skills through hands-on learning. The technology used by today's students prevents them from strengthening their fingers. When students use Legos to build their desired projects, they can apply different strategies to solve problems. In addition, they will be able to develop their social skills and collaborate with others.
I plan to integrate the Lego project into the curriculum in a variety of ways.
For example, during my 3K students' exploration of the All About Me topic, they will use Legos to construct the homes they would like to live in in the future. Children will measure the height and width of their projects and compare them to find which is the tallest or shortest. Students will have the chance to share and describe their projects after completing them, which will help them develop their expressive language skills and increase their vocabulary.
I look forward to my 3K students developing their math, language, problem-solving, and creativity skills through the Lego table project.
