My students are explorers, mathematicians, scientists, and authors! They love to learn and experience the world around them through hands-on activities.
My students are enthusiastic, fun-loving, and energetic learners!
They are learning to make smart choices and to solve their own problems. They love to teach each other and to work together to meet their learning goals.
Some of the students in my class and throughout our school site may be currently experiencing homelessness. They do not have access to many basic learning supplies away from the classroom.
My students are always active and engaged in learning. They learn best when they are actively participating in their own learning. This project will help our class do just that!
My students have noticed the real-world problem of our valet line at dismissal taking a long time. Each day they are frustrated that they have to wait for their car to come through the line in a sea of cars. They are looking to create and build vehicles that would allow for a faster valet line and dismissal process. They will experiment with the LEGO sets as they seek to become automotive engineers and create cars that are more streamlined and efficient for a faster valet line of the future!
My students need these LEGO sets specifically to experiment and explore the important STEM career of automotive engineering!
My students are looking forward to this hands-on approach to learning about wheels, gears, and parts! They will build cars together as well as construct entire LEGO communities complete with scenery and characters. This STEM based project will enhance their literacy skills as well as they create stories about automotive engineers within our community! We can't wait to get started!
