Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These LEGOs and supplies will enhance spaces in the classroom to create interactive tables or walls/cabinets to build with LEGOs. My classroom is a place that allows flexible seating and work spaces.

Creating tables, walls, or cupboard spaces that are interactive tools to build or spell with LEGOs will develop fine motor skills, problem solving, and spatial awareness while stimulating their creativity.

LEGOs also support peer relationships and positive interactions as they learn to work together and share supplies.

Students will be able to choose spaces and supplies to work and play with LEGOs during their day. Having assigned storage for LEGOs will also teach students to take responsibility for keeping their spaces clean and organized. Students love creating with LEGOs!
