Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom's sage on-stage way of teaching my students limits my students' engagement in learning Science and Math concepts. At times when we do experiments in the classroom, I resort to asking students to bring the materials, and most of the time I end up purchasing the tools and other science materials myself. Most of the time when we do hands-on learning, it is when I see students' sparkling eyes as they discover and analyze problems in teams. However, the materials we have are limited and so we have no choice but to extend those hands-on activities resulting in the number of days spent instead of having to learn more Science and Math concepts.
LEGO education's Spike Prime set could help us a lot in teaching Science and Math concepts in a more concrete way by allowing them to tinker, build LEGO robots, and use their LEGO robots to discover solutions to problems presented to them.
By having the LEGO Education's SPIKE PRIME set, students will be able to get the engaging hands-on experience they need while they investigate and discover the STEM problems or concepts in the classroom.
