My Project
My preK students love building, exploring, and creating with LEGO blocks in our play-based learning curriculum. LEGO building encourages teamwork, collaboration, and improves creativity. When students learn with LEGO blocks, they also strengthen science concepts through sequencing and develop vocabulary skills. First, the students will expand their thinking by creating new and exciting structures. Second, the LEGO sets will help the students develop and improve their math, science, and problem-solving skills. Fine motor and social skills will also improve because the LEGO sets will provide great opportunities for social engagement and interaction.
