LEGO Plants and Flowers-Aligned to our School Garden

My Project

In the past couple years, I have integrated LEGO in the study of Ancient China, to the study of plants and flowers. All of the projects have been funded through DonorsChoose. Each of the classes were able to connect STEAM/Engineering within the projects.

This quote, “Every brick tells a story of creativity," along with this quote, "In the world of LEGO®, imagination has no limits," sums up the experiences of the students when working with LEGO.

These additional LEGO kits, will enhance engagement and exploration. These kits will be added to the outdoor classroom. This will enable not only the 6th grade students to use them, but the entire middle school. The kits will be integrated within our school garden.
