My Project

In our bustling school library, our students are not just learners; they're dreamers, builders, and collaborators who deserve recreational forms of challenge and problem solving. With their diverse talents and backgrounds, they deserve a space where stress dissipates and connections flourish. Unleashing innovative, outside of the box forms of creativity is why I'm eager to introduce a LEGO set to our makerspace.

Imagine our makerspace table, set up with LEGO bricks and daily challenges attached.

Students gather, eager to tackle the day's prompt: "Build a structure that represents your favorite book character." As they engage in hands-on creation, they not only de-stress but also delve into social and emotional learning.

The addition of a LEGO set to our makerspace is about more than just building structures; it's about building on those critical thinking skills in recreational, de-stressing ways. Providing students with direction and structure through daily challenges and prompts, we create an engaging, recreational learning environment.
