This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class was fortunate to receive a donation of a lot of specialty LEGO pieces. My fifth graders spent hours digging through them. Now we need a way to sort and store them. We also need some regular (non-specialty) bricks.
Our class is full of artists and creators.
We will use the LEGO bricks for independent and group, free choice activities, as well as participating in "Build the Change" lessons for LEGO.
These Lego bricks will last for many years and they will be enjoyed by many students each year.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
