Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students in my class are encouraged to learn and grow by exploring the world around them, and by participating in many different types of activities. These gifted learners need to be motivated to explore the many possibilities open to them. EV3 robots will spark their curiosities!
My students are very inquisitive learners who have many interests.
They love learning and take great pride in everything they do. These students really love anything to do with a challenge and dive right into no opportunities. Our school is a very large, suburban elementary school serving students in kindergarten through 5th grade.
My Project
Once the EV3 robots arrive in my classroom, my students will enjoy building them. Then, they will begin learning to program the robots. EV3 robots can be programed to perform may tasks. Students will learn the foundations of computer coding and engineering skills that will follow them into the workplace.
Donations to this project will improve my classroom by making it possible for my students to become robotics engineers.
The activities they learn will spark their career choices and open up new worlds for my students.
