Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of our students are immigrants and bilinguals, and they bring with them different perspectives and languages. We embrace all of these differences and encourage students to share what makes them unique and special.
As a librarian, I want to foster inclusiveness and make all students feel welcome.
Our English Language Learners often struggle with communication when collaborating and socializing with classmates. To help them develop language and speaking skills, I am requesting engaging Lego sets for middle school students.
These Lego sets will allow students to work together to develop literacy and social skills.
