My Project
Every school year, amazing engineers step into my classroom. I love observing the imaginations of my students soar as they begin working with Lego pieces. The children learn to work with one another cooperatively as they engineer throughout the school year as well.
If we had a Lego table, the children would have an opportunity to save their structures and continue working with them for days to follow.
At times, it can be difficult for the children to put their structures aside for another day due to the lack of shelving around the classroom. In addition, the table they utilize always has to be cleaned for the next activity (eating, small group lessons, etc.). I would love to give my students a Lego Building Zone for our classroom!
