This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have an amazing group of loving, bilingual diverse students. This year, my students have impressed me in the way they show love and care for each other. My students consistently find ways to help each other and cheer each other up.
With the pandemic, my students have experienced more stress than ever and they can't rely on each other for support as much as they did before.
Also, sometimes they don't want to share some personal events with their peers.
My Project
In my school, we follow a curriculum called Amplify Science. In 3rd grade, we concentrate on 4 units. One of those Units concentrates on movement and stability. The unit is rich with text and structure procedures. I am requesting 4 sets of "BricQ Motion Essential" from the lego store. With these sets, the students will have the opportunity to experiment and observe movement with legos. I order 4 sets to properly sanitize them and be able to. have a control number of students using each set. This will help my students be safe, have fun and learn all at the same time!
