Our students are a cut above. They travel from all over the city to go to our school. They choose a more rigorous and challenging curriculum, because they want to push themselves to be the best they can be. Our test scores are pretty good, and our school makes good grades. Our students usually are the last in the district to get new equipment and new technology to assist their education, because the lower performing schools get funding first.
Our students deserve an exceptional and creative learning experience too!
They take so many AP (Advanced Placement) and IB (International Baccalaureate) classes, often times getting over-stressed. Having a tactile method of learning will help them use different parts of their minds in order to learn most effectively.
The organizational boxes will allow us to keep the LEGOs that we use in class separated so that when we need a specific piece, we can find it easily. We'll use the magnetic pieces to simulate perfectly inelastic and elastic collisions with our custom-made LEGO cars, where the students will see first hand how momentum is conserved, and what happens to the energy.
These boxes will help keep our physics room tidy, and our LEGO learning efficient!
The baseplates will be used to provide a good base for building structures, and for making ramps for LEGO cars to accelerate down. Learning physics has never been more fun, I mean phun!
