Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In the post-pandemic world, it is increasingly obvious that students need tangible, hands-on methods of engaging with learning. I'd like to incorporate fine motor skills and visual organization into lessons for high school geography through the use of Legos.

If students can touch it, move it, and explain why they made it - then they are truly learning.

Help me purchase the Legos we need to apply these skills and learning modalities to multiple topics including urban development, agricultural distribution, rural land use, cultural organization and migration, project-based learning skills, data visualization, and source analysis.
