My Students

My students come to me on a daily basis with smiles on their faces and enthusiasm in their voices. They make it easy to love my job! Our school is Title I, and we have an awesome support system of parents, teachers, and administrators. We all have one goal in mind; we want our students to succeed.

I'm working to build our student interest in STEM jobs with a robotics club.

My students' success and future is extremely important to me, and your support helps me reach it every year!

My Project

The space challenge set, the EV3 Lego robotics will allow my students to put their knowledge to the test. My students will follow the engineering design process to create robots. STEM careers are not just about building random items, they are about making materials that are useful and make life easier.

This challenge set will help my students understand how scientists must constantly go through the trial and error process.

I've taught them that science is the one area it's ok to be wrong in. It's all about learning from your mistakes. My students are going to have to go through this process to build a robot that can perform as many of the challenges as possible.
