My Project
My school day is spent with my students teaching them how to develop problem-solving skills. All of my students are developmentally delayed, and many are on the Autism spectrum with sensory needs. Concepts that seem easy to us are not always so with my students. I try to bring ideas and skills needed to the with the use of building, active engagement, and visual builds.
We look to see if we can put together builds that have more than one way of an end product.
Would it be better if we put this piece here? We look to find answers to a simple problem and then apply it. In breaking into groups, my students practice communication, socialization, and computer science skills which help them with their individual goals.
This school year I want to push my student to their limits. I would like to make them the best that they can be all the while having fun and learning new concepts they can use in their lives.
