My Students
While they have many differences, my students still have a lot of things in common. They are kids who like to have fun and want to succeed and make a difference in their world. My students have shown great potential, and I cannot wait to see what they will do as they use their education to impact people around them.
My students are writers, scientists, engineers, artists, politicians, teachers, and much, much more.
They will be fathers, mothers, aunts, uncles, and grandparents who will reach into the lives of future generations and make a change that will alter the destinies of thousands, if not millions.
My Project
This year is much different that any year we have had. In an attempt to keep everyone healthy, we are placing parameters around education that forces us to think outside the box. Students will sit farther apart, wear masks, and not share materials. In Lego Robotics, this makes things a little difficult.
We need to increase the number of kits in our classroom to allow for better engagement.
The goal is one kit per student. This will allow for students to remain engaged without spreading germs. It will also avoid frustration due to not having the opportunity to build with Lego which is why they took the class in the first place.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
