My Project

LEGO is always a big hit in the classroom. Students love to explore and build independently or with others. Throughout the year we use LEGO items for choice time, math learning, STEM projects and more.

I start the year with a personal bag of LEGO that has "Let's build a great year together" waiting for students on their desk.

This is a great icebreaker for the first day of school and allows students the opportunity to settle in for the day on a positive note. Students have the option, after the first week to take their bag home or to leave it at school to use when they have choice time.

Having these items ready to go for the next school year will help me be prepared and ready for a new group of students.
