This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Being in middle school can be stressful, and for my fasting students, it can be even more so. I want to create a space where my fasting students can come during their lunch time and not focus on the smell of food in the school cafeteria but instead be distracted by Legos.
Every student needs a moment to decompress from time to time.
Legos are a great way to make that happen. These students have chosen what they would be interested in working on during their lunch period to maintain their fasting.
