This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 4th grade students have unique strengths, but one thing they have in common is a strong love of learning. Although they may not have a lot of resources to keep up with the ever changing world, they are always up for the challenge of learning something new.
My students are full of life and inspiration.
They look forward to different learning experiences and being challenged. They are intelligent, hard-working, and passionate.
These students have grown up in a world of ever-changing technology, but they have been able to maneuver through it, as well as master it.
My Project
My students love to be challenged! They thrive most when they are learning new things, and are always up for persevering through the challenge. STEM projects keep my students engaged in learning science, technology, engineering and math. We have LEGO building bricks in class, but these building plates will help my students develop their problem solving skills in these areas.
These LEGO building plates will give my students the opportunity to engage with their STEM projects, as well as prepare them for their future career path.
They will be able to create different creations, and find ways to solve a given problem using different techniques.
The LEGO building plates will open my students' eyes to new ways of learning, and ignite their creativity. These opportunities are imperative in preparing my students for the careers of the future.
