Lego EV3 Robots: Industry Foundations 4.0 Learning

My Students

This donation will help those students who are participating in our new Fab Lab program. The students create engaging, hands-on activities that create a classroom environment that empowers each other to develop in-demand knowledge and skills they need to thrive and prepare for the real-world.

These students work together to solve problems/challenges they will face today and in the future.

They will use the design process to work to design, build, and test solutions related to the problems they are challenged with. The students learn how to solve problems they will face in the future in a team-based learning atmosphere.

My Project

Building Industry 4.0 education through the use of innovative LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots and First Lego League challenges will engage the students who are always pushing themselves and exploring new challenges in the Fab Lab at FRMS! Our students will utilize their creativity and 21st century thinking skills to work collaboratively to build, program, and command their robots to maneuver on this year's new challenge board.

The EV3 robots will challenge the students, provide hands-on learning, use interactive and inquiry based learning opportunities, and provide them the opportunity to use real-worlds applications with the 5 C's of 21st century learning.

These robots will allow the students to use their creativity and the engineering design process to code and use problem solving strategies that will benefit them in their future endeavors.
