Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with 15 very energetic and happy pre kindergartners! I love that my students are very enthused about learning. Every morning, they walk in class ready to go, getting their journals and doing their Morning Start activities without any hesitations. I also love that they come to class happy. That makes me happy.

My Project

Lego Sets not only promote creativity. There are many benefits when students play with Lego. It builds fine motor skills, language development, social skills, team work, problem-solving and creative thinking- their imagination! My students will use these Lego sets to create with their parents.

I would love to give them their own Lego sets for our Parent and Child project, "Lego Connect!

Let's Create!

I discussed the project with my students. about using Lego sets to create with their parents.They were thrilled learning they will "play" with their parents, but were very excited to learn that they will get their own set to take home! With these Lego, both students and parents will use their imaginations to create whatever they want...the sky is the limit! The students will be able to present and discuss their Parent and Child creation to the class.
