They are eager to use their library and new makerspace with your help! This makerspace will serve the entire school of 4K-5th grade.
The students are super excited to hear the technology teacher and librarian media specialist's idea to start a maker space, but now they are making it their own by contributing their own ideas and projects!
Genius Hour, here we come! The students will have an hour with their class each week to work on a personal and collaborative passion project of their choosing.
We're building our maker space, one block at a time! Students will be so proud of what they can create with Lego bricks, figurines, and base plates. Pairing engineering choice time with a book is what our hour of maker space time each week is all about.
Lego building is our most popular request from our students during choice time for our new maker space we are building.
We'll give students the building blocks for their creative building, design, and social play. They can learn so much from working on Legos in a collaborative or independent way! Sharing supplies, making building decisions together, and even cleanup is a constructive time for students to make choices for themselves.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
