My Project
"LEGO Art Quest: Bridging Creativity and STEM Innovation" aims to engage ASD students in exploring art through the tactile and versatile medium of LEGO bricks. By providing these students with a variety of LEGO sets and accessories, the project seeks to foster creativity, spatial reasoning, and fine motor skills crucial for their development. The requested items, including LEGO Classic sets, LEGO Duplo sets, and storage solutions, will enable students to experiment with different techniques and build complex artworks, promoting both artistic expression and STEM learning.
The project's goals are twofold: to enhance ASD students' understanding and appreciation of art through hands-on exploration with LEGO, and to integrate art with STEM concepts to stimulate holistic learning.
ASD students bring unique perspectives and strengths, such as attention to detail and a strong affinity for structured activities, which make them particularly suited for the structured yet open-ended nature of LEGO art. This project aims to harness these strengths to empower students in expressing themselves artistically and academically.
