My students are part of a very small school community in a very rural area. We are also considered a high-poverty school. Our school has an awesome, small community atmosphere. We care about each other and it is common to hear students asking teachers about their weekend or how their family is and vice versa. My students are hard-working, inquisitive and love to learn. They strive to do their very best every day. One of the best things about our school is our amazing students!
My Project
I will have the honor of teaching an honors science course this fall. The course is anatomy and physiology. We need a model of a skeleton to help us learn the bones of the human body. This kit not only gives us a skeleton model but charts too!
A 3D model is better than a chart in a textbook.
This model will help students learn the bones of the body and also see how they work. This project is one of many steps in making learning anatomy fun and engaging for my students. I look forward to teaching the class this year!
