Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When my second grade students are exceptional in academics or behavior I like to reward them. These rewards can range from a dollar of our school's currency or a single Skittle, to a new pencil with their favorite character or an animal shaped eraser. Little rewards do so much to motivate my students to work harder!
I like to give my students a reward that is both practical and exciting!
The pencils and erasers I've picked are just that. Some of the pencils have characters, or Emojis I know they will love. Some are a solid color, or have a fun pattern. I've chosen erasers shaped like popcorn, spiky tops, in addition to a variety of colors.
All pencil and eraser sets come with at least 24 so that if the whole class is doing a great job, or needs some extra motivation I can reward them all! Nothing says classroom family like matching pencils!
