Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is looking for a way to further our students' access to LearnStorm, an online math program. We can use these materials to use that website as well as many others.

In Silicon Valley, my STEAM school serves a truly remarkable group of socioeconomically disadvantaged students who genuinely love to learn every day!

They are a very caring bunch and I would love for them to see that other people (some they don't even know) care about them, too!

My Project

The iPads will allow students and teachers to push material to our projectors wirelessly, allowing for greater communication and more meaningful project-based learning. The accessories will allow students to truly focus on the assignment at hand, promoting more engagement and fewer distractions in the classroom.

This project will provide so many opportunities for technology in an area where many students do not have resources like this.

The students will work together, fostering teamwork and cooperation which are life-long skills. They will have access to technology they may not have at home. Overall, these are devices are necessary to give our students a true 21st century education!
