Learning Your Own Way!

Help me give my students some options to meet their sensory needs so that can be successful in the classroom! This includes balance ball chairs, wobble chairs, and other items.

My Students

My students are my inspiration! They are positive, enthusiastic and resilient. They are eager to challenge themselves in their learning and strive to utilize strategies to cope with the many social and emotional challenges that they may face. I work with about 600 PK-5th grade students from diverse cultures, special needs and varying economic backgrounds.

My Project

My students are constantly on the go and require a lot of movement throughout the day. We have sensory paths throughout our hallways, but, what about in the classroom?! What about those students who needs constant sensory and movement support within the classroom in order to stay focused and be successful?

This project will allow our school to be able to provide options for flexible eating and sensory output in order to help our students be able to focus and reach their goals!

This simple project can make a huge impact on a students day-to-day life in the classroom.
