Learning Without Boundaries

Help me give my students the whiteboards for my third grade classroom to help in classroom development in Math and Reading. They will be fundamental part of my students' learning.

My Project

Whiteboards are be a fundamental part of my students learning in all concepts of the classroom, whether it be math, reading, writing, or science. They will be used across the curriculum. They will be used in small group, whole group, centers, and all subjects of learning. For example, by using whiteboards in my classroom during whole group learning, the students have no boundaries. They feel that they can write an answer on the whiteboard, hold it up for me to see whether the answer is a correct or incorrect. They're still giving the chance to answer the question and it also gives me a chance to see who understands the question and who doesn't. By the students using whiteboards and having no boundaries to answer they don't have any fear of being mocked at or made fun of if they have the wrong answer. I'm the only one that sees it during that time. This also gives them a sense of Pride that they're able to answer a question without being ridiculed by anybody. The students use this as a way of interaction. I have the students keep the whiteboards in their desk they use them to practice stuff on them for all subjects. We use it for math to write a math problem on it and working in groups or work with partners. Whiteboards are truly a fundamental part of my lesson and my classroom and all subjects. I also like using whiteboards because it does cut down on the amount of paper used when the kids are practicing their math problems or trying to write a sentence or answer the question or figure out a problem they are part of by daily lesson and learning.
