This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is for the Hand2mind Versa Tiles and TPT (Teachers Pay Teachers) gift cards that will help students build literacy and math proficiency. The Hand2mind Versa Tiles also offer skills practice during independent learning. My English Language Learner students continue to need activities where they are able to self-check their work independently. They also need activities that foster collaboration and help build relationships among students.
The VersaTiles will help reinforce literacy and math concepts through hands-on learning.
Also they will help with increasing student proficiency in literacy and math skills to explore, practice, solve, and self-check with the Versatile answer case. Since we have the VersaTiles with 12 squares as well, the TPT gift cards will allow me to find activities that go with both types of VersaTile cases.
