This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of manipulatives is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially to support their language development. These materials will be used during small group learning activities, and in their choice time where they can explore on their own with whatever they choose.
This project would add some new items to ensure students stay excited and continue to support their language development.
These manipulatives will be a huge hit and will add new sparkle to our classroom. The Construct-A-Letter Activity Center will benefit their fine motor skills and letter recognition as they create letters found in their names. The Early Language Activity Boxes will create opportunities to build skills in size comparison, sorting, and matching.
