Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

First grade students love working with technology. It is new to them, but they are so intrigued and engaged when they do anything on a computer or iPad.

My school is primarily made up of English Language Learners.

Many of my students need support and intervention in reading and math due to English being their second language. Many of my students don't have the chance to work with technology at home. Providing my students with these technology items will give them the ability to learn in a new and exciting way.

My Project

The iPads and laptops will allow my students to access reading and math apps, as well as websites that will help support and provide them intervention. The students will be able to access these items daily in small groups. The use of technology is a wonderful tool to motivate and engage students to help support them in the core curriculum.

My students would love the chance to learn reading and math skills through technology.

These items will allow them to get excited about learning in a different way, outside of the pages in a textbook. Please help them experience this wonderful opportunity.
