My Students

Working with students with special needs ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade is an experience that warms our hearts and pushes us to do more. These wonderful students are one of the most energetic, resilient and creative groups of individuals, and they are determined to work towards their academic goals, despite having specific learning, physical, emotional and/or behavioral difficulties. They display so much perseverance and truly inspire everyone around them to work harder.

Every day these students come in ready to learn, only to get overwhelmed on processing materials or to struggle to even be part of the community due to the hardships of internal and external stimulus that hinder their creative mindset and prevent understanding the current subject.

Our community believes in providing an environment which can utilize different types of learning strategies and manipulatives to support and develop an educational environment.

Working with these young groups of individuals truly gives us the drive and inspiration to come in to work every day to made a difference in these students’ educational lives.

My Project

With the advancement of learning and the use of online resources being the most common resource in today's world of learning. Computer and Chromebooks are becoming a must needed tool in learning. With these new computer we will be able to expand a wider range of online tools that can be more interactive and engaging, by adding these new tools with the more traditional paper and pencil methods, we can give the student more opportunities to learn. The headphone, mouses, and other accessories will help many of our special education students listen and navigate math, reading, and writing material which can be challenging.

These new computer will give our students a more wide range of learning tools and allow them to keep up with today's advancement on education.

In order for these young students to expand their knowledge is to provide enough resources so they can for them to learn. Although there is no one way of learning, assess to technology can provide a significance stepping stone for student to reach there educational goals.
