Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to play in their learning centers. They do not have very many math center materials, though, and could really use more. It is better for everyone to be able to use the center activities!
I want to give my students STEM math centers, so they can practice the skills they are learning in class.
Some of these skills include counting, and adding and subtracting using different strategies. They will also experiment with engineering when using magnets and shapes to create.
It would be so exciting to be able to provide these fun tools for my students to all be able to learn together.
